How this calculator works:
For each weekday (Mon–Sat), hours beyond the standard shift are
counted as Daily OT. If total weekday hours also exceed the weekly
normal threshold, any additional hours are counted as Weekly OT (excess
over weekly standard that wasn't already caught by daily OT).
Sunday hours always attract rest-day premium pay regardless of whether
daily or weekly OT limits were reached.
OT wages are included in ESI gross wages but excluded from PF
basic wages — confirm with your payroll team.
